Do you want to gain a better understanding of what the outer planets bring when they transit through a particular sign? Each planet goes through cycles, just like the Moon and Sun which are easiest for us to observe. Each planet travels around the Sun moving through the regions of the sky we call constellations. In astrology we view these cycles as something like an energetic pattern, the planets even have their own tone and vibration. NASA’s astronomical interferometer aboard the Voyager and Hawkeye probes is a device that converts planetary radio waves into a frequency that can be heard by the human ear….

Life Cycles Exercise

We all observe the moon wax and wane through its synodic cycle. There are many phases but for simplicity we’re just focused on the first quarter, full moon, last quarter and new moon as an example. Similarly, the planets also have synodic cycles in which they wax and wane. For example, a waxing Saturn Square is like the first quarter it is also called an opening Saturn square because it is initiating an event that will play out through Saturn’s cycle….

Sentence Completion Exercise

The emotional temperament (Moon) is deep, passionate and secretive (Scorpio) it reveals itself through unconscious ways, needing to isolate to process feelings (12th). It is strained (square) from expression or communication (3rd house) by strict boundaries (Saturn) and excessive detachment (Aquarius).

Another layer can be added since we often have a planet with more than one aspect. We can have Moon in Scorpio in the 12th house square Saturn in Aquarius in the 3rd house, and trine Venus in Cancer in the 8th house. The trine adds an outlet for the tension the square creates….
