I am a humanistic astrologer with an extensive counselor background offering a remarkably insightful and tailored framework for exploring your life journey. This means I do not focus on what is wrong. I do not diagnose. The black and white, right and wrong paradigm we live in does a lot of harm. Confucius said, “Judge not lest you be judged.” People make mistakes and are going to make mistakes it is how we learn, grow and evolve.

I offer a compassionate, confidential, non-judgmental and safe environment to discuss and guide you through the different cycles we are confronted with in life. I have been a licensed counselor almost 30 years. I have left that behind me in favor of providing astrological consultations. This means I am not providing mental health services. It is not possible for me to be licensed in all of the places from which people reach out to me. So, I do not diagnose, nor provide therapeutic services, I can provide references and referrals if needed.

There are many types of Astrology. I practice psychological and evolutionary astrology with a humanistic approach. I’m currently exploring Vibrational Astrology by David Cochrane. Its brilliant and based in harmonics. Having started with the Placidus House System much of my work has shifted to Koch House System, as I found it to be more accurate for my purposes. A lot of newer astrologers use Equal House System, one is not better than another it is just a preference. I am not a mundane astrologer and do not predict politics or weather events.

There is a difference between an astrologer and a psychic. I am not a psychic. There are however correlations between various life events and experiences and each individual’s astrological position which I can help expose to you and explain. I do not tell the future. There are too many variables at play; not the least of which is your own freewill and the choices you make as you encounter events, situations, relationships throughout your life. It is, in my opinion, unethical to tell someone they should or should not marry a specific person. I can point out the inherent aspects (both points of harmony and tension) between two people based upon their specific astrological positions. Every relationship has areas of harmony and points of tension. Attracting the ‘perfect’ harmonious partner is unrealistic. Points of conflict offer opportunities for growth. Even when that means learning to identify and set boundaries with a toxic person. There is a reason and a season for every person that enters your life. It is still for your growth. Another example, I also wouldn’t tell someone to move to a certain place. If you ask me about a place you’re considering, I could then help you identify a place based upon your astrological chart and your reasons for going there, but I would never say, “move here.” These are important to explain, because you are the master in your life, not me or any other astrologer, psychic or
whatever.

I help guide you and explain the energy of the current astrological transits and progressions. There is a reason and meaning to everything!

My history with astrology began in the 1980s. I had the good fortune of having a great aunt who was an astrologer. She gave me her antique, classic collection of astrology books by the ‘Greats’; Reinhold Ebertein, Dane Rudhyar, C.E.O. Carter, Llewellyn George, Grant Lewi, to name a few. I couldn’t get enough! While in college in Hawaii, I went to the library and checked out every astrology book I could find, when I was supposed to be writing my papers for class! Then I expanded my exploration into used and new-age bookstores. I began with the Marion March & Joan McEvers series, “The Only Way to Learn Astrology.” Back then, all we had was “Old School.” I learned to do charts by hand. Computer programs didn’t exist for this discipline. I still have my tattered book of tables!

I took an astrology hiatus while in graduate school as a full-time student and full-time Mom. I had little time to pursue my hobbies. That was only for two years, and I was back to absorbing all I could find. What I couldn’t find in the beginning were all the wonderful schools that are online now. I attended workshops with Noel Tyl in person. I studied Liz Greene, Jeffrey Wolf Green, Steven Forrest, Donna Cunningham, Alan Leo, Howard Sasportas, Stephan Arroyo, Robert Blaschke, Demetra George, Jan Spiller, and many others. What I’ve learned is astrology is an ancient combination of psychology, philosophy, mythology, geometry, and harmonics. It is beautiful and what really hooks me is it is constantly revealing something new to the world. You’ll never know it all, which is so humbling for my Sagittarius rising. It also feeds my investigative Scorpio stellium with Mercury conjunct Neptune in the 11th humanitarian house, sextile a 9th house stellium with Uranus and Pluto, and then there is my Leo Moon in the 8th house, but I digress. That is for my fellow astrologers who read this. My consultations with you will be ‘in English’ though as my husband jokes!

If you wish to learn astrology in depth, I highly recommend studying with Rick Levine, Adam Elenbaas, Annie Botticelli or Astrology Hub has a large selection of very talented astrologers to choose from. I love anything with Rick Levine, David Cochran, Kepler College. Astro Butterfly has a wonderful online program for beginners. I am not affiliated with them in any way, but really enjoy what they have to offer.

The more I learn, the more I find to discover. This is soulful learning; it enriches the deepest parts of our mind and spirit.
